Lewis Hamilton was given a five second penalty at the Hungarian Grand Prix for exceeding the pit lane speed limit by one tenth of a kilometre an hour. The Ferrari driver was clocked at 80.1 km/h entering the pit lane under a Virtual Safety Car for his third stop, in a fight with Kimi Antonelli for the final podium place. The stewards' note read: "Car 44 exceeded the pit lane speed limit which is set at 80 km/h for this event by 0.1 km/h." It was his fourth sanction in three race weekends, after a false start at Silverstone, causing a collision at Spa, and a three place grid drop in Hungary for impeding Oscar Piastri in qualifying. He was classified fifth, seven tenths behind Charles Leclerc, and his deficit to championship leader Antonelli grew from 45 points to 50. πΈπ° via PlanetF1 #F1 #LewisHamilton #Ferrari #HungarianGP
